                                                                           against homeschooling

When you come up against the local school system they always have many arguments against homeschooling.

Homeschooling is not perfect and it doesn’t suit everybody. But there are a lot of people against homeschooling, especially anyone connected in any way to the established education system. The established education system has problems and they don’t like home schoolers because most

times the home schooled kids do better in any test.

Therefore they can come up with any number of reasons against homeschooling.

But there main motive to say strange things about home schooled kids and how they don’t fit into society in on average the $10,000 funding they receive for each student. If any student leaves the education system to go home schooling the school loses $10,000, so they will say whatever it takes to keep kids in school.

Home schooling takes time so you as a parent have to put in the time.

And that is the first consideration before you start to consider homeschooling. The other thing is freedom, when your kids are at school you are free to do what you like. So if you are waiting for the holidays to end, so you can have some more free time then don’t try homeschooling.

The biggest thing I had against homeschooling was getting friends for the kid.

The people against homeschooling have a valid argument using socialization as a reason not to go homeschooling. But now with so many families home schooling all you have to do is join your local homeschooling group and your kids can meet lots of other kids.

Another problem is the kids can be too sheltered from the bad things in society like drugs, drinking, sex and whatever. And that is a problem, so you have to somehow get your kids exposed to these things, so it is not a big shock when they end up in society.
