                                                                                homeschooling curriculum

Your homeschooling curriculum can be very broad except you must teach reading, writing and arithmetic

When you apply to take your kids out of school the school should give you the curriculum to follow so you know what homeschool curriculum should be taught. That varies depending on where you live. A lot of schools don’t know what they have to give you. And some can’t give you

anything because they don’t know what they are doing, but you get used to that.

So you should check before you approach the school.

Anyway for early grades it is all reading, writing and math. If you are having problems teaching reading and writing, check out this Montessori Teaching Reading and Writing program. I found it to be very useful when I was teaching my kids and my kid had learning difficulties. It is a hands on approach so you have to be there setting the words up for your child or if you are lucky and older child can set up the words. As they say if you want to learn something you should teach it. So if your kids want to learn to read they should teach the younger children. Very effective for homeschooling.

For homeschooling large families I have found the Montessori curriculum to be excellent. It fits perfectly into the homeschooling family curriculum. I can see why public schools will not use the Montessori Method as it is so effective. Anyway I recommend your homeschool curriculum should include Montessori and after using it you will see why.
