Czech language learn Why would you want tolearn the Czech language?Well for a start if you husband or wife
is from Czechoslovakia then you would consider learning the Czech language,
just in case you go there to visit the relatives. And then again your
children might want to learn their In some Eastern Block countries they learn more than one language at school. You will find that most young people are learning English and Russian as well as the European languages. So you will have plenty of opportunities to practice Czech as a lot of people will also like to practice their English. This is a problem you will find in most of Europe as they learn many languages at school. People like us in the English-speaking world don’t need to learn many languages as nearly every country tries to teach their children English. A rather limiting problem really for people in the west, but as there is no serious need to learn another language we don’t. So to learn some languages like Czech you will need to get a grasp of the language before going there. That way you might pick up more of the language when you are there. Even though Czech is not one of the major spoken languages there are still courses available that will teach you the language. When you are learning any language you must realize it takes time and effort so the more time you put in the more you will learn. Even if it is just listening to a tape or mp3 and reading aloud in Czech to try and get your mind and your mouth working together in the new language. Any adult who has learnt a second language will say it takes time so you have to do the same. Also if you intend to go to Czechoslovakia to learn the language you should consider getting an English Teaching certificate so you can teach English there.
