Organic gardening Nowadays with the price of oil going through the roof organic gardening is the way to goOrganic gardening is a form of natural farming where you garden according to the laws of nature. And they are basically no tillage or digging up the soil. Some gardeners will double dig their garden beds to 24 inches when they set up the garden. but after the initial dig they will follow the no tillage approach. When you double dig you will give the garden a good start. I don’t mainly because I’m too old, but I have in the past. Now I stick to the natural organic gardening way and don’t do any digging. All the organic material produced by the garden is returned right back.Only the vegetables are taken off the land. Also by following the natural organic gardening method I don’t use any fertilizers, chemicals of any kind or pesticides or herbicides. As most pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers come from oil or natural gas, we will see a dramatic decline in their use in the near future as the price of oil and natural gas keeps rising. Modern gardening methods are so tied to oil that we will have to redesign farming and gardening so they don’t use anything oil based.I try to garden as naturally as possible. I don’t even use compost any more. I try to follow nature’s cycles of growth and decomposition taking only what I want to eat or sell from the garden. Everything else is returned to the soil. So if you are into organic gardening or are thinking of turning your lawn into a garden you have come to the right place. Browse the site and check out what we have to offer.
