peak oil debunked Most of the people are looking at peak oil debunked instead of looking at the factsThe peak
oil theory has been around for a number of years and has accumulated a
following of debunkers. But if you look at
the big picture you can see that there is less oil in the world today than
20 years ago. When Easter Island and the Anasazi of the American Southwest ran out of trees, their societies collapsed, they didn’t come up with a new energy. The debunkers of peak oil are afraid of change and when oil starts to run out they will be blaming the economy, the government, unemployment or whatever but they will never say we are running out of oil. The truth hurts. Peak oil myths and debunkers can say what they like, that is the advantage of free speech. But they will still have to live in an oil-less world like the rest of us. They may as well make the most of their debunking and myths before the peak oil crisis really hits us. I think it is quite obvious oil is running out. The new oil wells are in inaccessible places and the cost to bring the oil to the surface is staggering. Debunkers carry on about the oil sands of Canada but that is already causing an ecological disaster that will only get worse. And really for all the playing around they are doing up there they are not getting much oil for it. They are just showing the world how advanced oil getting machinery has evolved, but we need oil to run the machines so when it runs out the machines stop.
