polar bear global warming What is this thing about global warming and polar bears It seems the polar bear is now the symbol of the effects of global warming. It has been mentioned on a number of global warming documentaries that polar bears may be the first casualty of global warming. I watched one documentary that showed this very skinnyBut one thing that people on the overpopulated planet seem to forget.Might be that maybe, just maybe the reason the polar bears are going extinct is because there is too many people on the planet and not enough room left for the polar bears. Nobody seems to consider that angle. Anyway if as the Al Gore crowd keep reminding us the global warming is caused by human activities wouldn’t it be logical to start limiting the population of the people. Then there wouldn’t be so many people on the overpopulated planet and the polar bears might get a chance. As it is we, the people on the overpopulated planet, are over running every habitat and even the icy wastes of the artic are not immune to invasion by people.Some eco-experts have said the polar bears have survived many ice ages and global warming periods so why shouldn’t they survive this one. Well if they don’t, it would be because of us humans encroaching on their territory destroying their food supply, not on global warming. The polar bears are in a bit of a predicament with the ice fields melting and the seal populations getting more and more dispersed. The bears have to travel longer distances to find the seals. As with all creatures on the planet they will have to adapt or die. And we will have to do the same when the world runs out of oil and global warming kicks into gear with a vengeance.
