I do know of any exceptional reading programs but I do know it is not the program. It is the time you spend with your children doing some type of reading, whether it is from a downloadable books or a shop book. It is not the program, it is the time.If you want your children to read you must spend time with them, and that is what it is all about. You can download as much free stuff or pay stuff from the Internet as you can, but it is no good unless you read it to your children. The Montessori program I used is actually the method Maria started about 100 years ago and it still works today. I made the sandpaper letters myself from the instructions in the book and I think they made learning easier, but it still boiled down to how much time I put in. To learn more about the Montessori reading course and other phonics courses I recommend see our teach reading page. To have a chat to other parents and to find out more about learning to read go to our forum. Thank you for your time
